A trip to the spill way

Yesterday we went out to my Mamaw and Papaw's house. We then got to all pile up in a jeep that my Dad and Papaw have been fixing up and drive it to the spill way!

Just Think

Today I went to the airport with my Papa to pick up my Aunt Andi. My mom said before we left "Now girls, don't talk your Papa's ear off" and of course are reply was,  " Yes Ma'm." So I played hangman with my twin sister and then I just sat and looked out my car door window. One thing that absolutely fascinates me is clouds. I love watching clouds. I don't like a sky without clouds. The clouds I saw today were very close to the ground, and some looked like cotton candy torn and thrown into the sky. I loved watching the planes leave streaks across the sky. And I literally sat there for thirty minutes just staring out of my window in absolute amazment. Usually I just talk and never stop, but it was so nice to sit and observe and just let my mind drift across whatever thought it wanted too. Thinking is so peacful. And when I say thinking I mean effortless thinking. Not the same kind when you would take a nine-weeks exam. I could sit there and think "How great is my God." I finally understood what my teachers were talking about when they say evolutinist look at the world through blurred glasses, but creationist have completely clear glasses. I just want to encourage whomever is reading this to take time to think. Take time to just go in your back or front yard and observe take it all in. :)
Some pictures I have taken in the past. (With iPod and edited on instagram.)

My heart dropped

Me and my sisters had just gotten out of the car. I walked over to my mom's car in the church parking lot. (My parents are divorced, so we do this evrey other Sunday.) My oldest sister had choir practice and we usally just hang around the church for an hour until discipliship training starts. So I walked up to the car, put my bags in the back seat, and set my bible ontop of the car. I did this because my hands were rather full, and I thought we were staying at the church. But then my twin sister told me that we were going to the house really quick. So I got in the car and guess what I forgot? I didn't realize I had left my bible on top until we got home and I was unpacking. So we went back and looked. As I was riding I thought "Oh, I am sure its fine, just as long as no one runs over it." " I can always get a new one, I guess." And then I saw it, all spread apart. The pages were going everywhich way. My mom got out, picked it up and handed it too me. I started crying, as I looked down at my bible all messed up. My heart dropped. I felt like someone had envaded my personal privacy. The binding was completely torn. And pages all crinkled, but not torn. Luckily, no one had run over it because the was no tire marks. My mom looked back at me and said, "I am sorry Brooklyn, I wish it would have been any other book." My face strained to give her a little smile, with tears slowly sliding down my face as I said, "Me too." My mom said I could put a cover on it and still use it, or get a new one. I told her I didn't want to get a new one. This is my first bible I have taken time to study. I am too attached to this one copy of the best book anyone will ever read. We went back home and ironed some of the pages to try to make it lay flat again. We then put a head band around it to keep it together. I decided last night that I want to be someone who does go through many bibles, someone who has studied God's word so much that she goes through many bibles in her lifetime. Someone that has a stack of bibles in her closet where every page is filled with foot notes.

Future Plans

When you were little you probably thought a lot about what you were going to be when you grew up. I remember that I always wanted to be a dolphin trainer, but this idea wore off by them time I was probably eight. My mom owns a clothing store and one time I got to go to market with her. I absolutely adored that trip! I loved going into the showrooms and picking out clothes. And ever since that trip I thought about being a designer or line manager. But I don't know alot about fashion, hardly any. So I decided that wouldn't be the best job for me. I think it would be marvelous to live in Maine and ride my bike to the library, college, post office, and work. You have probably all ready seen on my profile that I love coffee. And my latest dream is too open a little coffee shop in Maine with a business degree. One thing I have to keep in mind is I don't have control of what I do with my life; God does. And I always have to keep that in the front of my mind. Who knows, I may go be a missionary in Africa. Or Jesus may come back by then. I am not saying you shouldn't dream and have a goal. I always will have that dream and have a goal to strive for. But God's plan will be my main priority. And I think that alot of us forget this. So I would like to ask you, what are your goals and dreams? I love to read comments! :)

Mrs. Schmuck

Today marked one year since Mrs. Schmuck died. Mrs. Schmuck was my teacher that I watch on video everyday for school. She taught English, and was always excited about the lesson. Even though I was only watching a video and not even actually in her classroom, I could tell that she was someone that choose to be happy. There was never a single second that she wasn't smiling. And she was always telling stories about her dog or how she met her husband. Mrs. Schmuck was also a very strong christian. She died of leukemia in the year 2010. I am guessing my video lessons were made in the year 2008-2009. I am telling you this because I wish there were more people in the world like Mrs. Schmuck. If we acted like she did everyday, think about how many peoples day we would make ten times more better just because we gave them a simple smile. She will always be a role model for me. And I can't wait to met her in heaven someday. So go ahead smile:) make someones day! Be a role model!
